Aliya is a vibrant rooftop restaurant perched atop the Indigo Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Its prime location at 500 Metropolitan Ave offers sweeping views of the NYC skyline, creating an atmosphere that effortlessly blends urban chic with laid-back comfort. This spot is ideal for those seeking a refined yet lively experience—whether it’s a date night, a girls’ outing, or a festive group celebration by the poolside cabana.

The menu at Aliya shines with a thoughtful fusion of flavors, centered around rich, savory dishes that showcase oxtail in multiple forms—fried rice, tacos, and classic oxtail rice stand out as crowd favorites. The oxtail is consistently described as succulent and deeply flavorful, capturing the essence of soulful cooking. Complementing these are creative small plates like tamarind wings, plantain fries, yucca fries, and bibimbap, offering a diverse palette that honors both comfort food and global inspirations.

Guests repeatedly praise the cocktails, crafted with care and creativity, blending classic spirits like Hennessy and Johnnie Walker with unique inflections. While some note the drinks lean towards a balanced strength, the overall consensus highlights their quality and the skill behind each mix. A rooftop on top of the INDIGO HOTEL in Williamsburg serving some delicious tapas with some really good and creative cocktails. On the weekends they got a DJ playing some good r&b music. The service was good and the place just had a cool, mature vibe.

It is located inside of Hotel Indigo Williamsburg... I chose this spot for a late bday meet-up on Sat at 530pm. Such a dope spot with the view of NYC near the pool. The food was flavorful and that oxtail fried rice!!!!!. The cocktails were AMAZING!!! We ordered a little of everything including desserts! Great for date night or girls night!

Spent some time by the pool and the food service menu is from the restaurant, Aliya. The Oxtail Tacos are definitely superb. I would order it again and again. Please Be Advised is DOES have some spice. If you do not take well to spice, I would skip this and get the fried rice. The Oxtail on both is very succulent and juicy. Full of flavor. The drinks are good. The Old Fashion, I'd give a 7/10. Same for the margarita. I'm also giving my advice from being poolside. They may make it differently for indoor dining, but I definitely plan on returning for the indoor dining experience

We had an incredible experience at Rooftop Aliya in Brooklyn! They flawlessly accommodated our party of 14 in a private cabana by the pool, making everyone feel comfortable and taken care of. The views were stunning—perfect for photos—and the whole atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. The cocktails and shots were expertly made, strong, and delicious, keeping the night fun and festive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured our group had everything we needed. From the drinks to the setting to the service, every detail contributed to an unforgettable evening. Highly recommend for a group celebration or just a night out with friends!

My girls and I came to Aliya last weekend for the first time had the BEST time! It’s the perfect summertime rooftop vibe! The vibes were great! The DJ was dope, it was super sunny (before it poured), we sat at a cute 4 seater table right by outside, but technically inside. It got great sunlight, our waitress was attentive and got us our drinks and meal quickly. We read the reviews and were nervous about the food, but we were all very pleased. We ordered the wings, plantain fries, jerked elote, and a salad. Everything was really good and came out pretty quickly. We also did drinks and we weren’t disappointed. They could of been a little stronger, but overall the taste was good. Always happy to support a super cute chic Black owned spot! Also, the decor was 10/10! My only complaint is they’re pretty strict on having a reservation, you can’t just be in the neighborhood and say oh let’s go here real quick. We’ll definitely be back!

S/O to Chef Scotley Innis, and partner Aliya, on this dope Caribbean-fusion bar concept, nestled in Williamsburg's Hotel Indigo. I have had great experiences at Aliya and hope to dine at Continent BK soon. The drinks are fun, festive and precursor to a great time! THE FOOD IS DIVINE. Make sure to order everything off the menu. Seriously, that's the only way to truly enjoy what Aliya has to offer! The ambiance is spectacular. The service is hospitable and engaging. The menu is a creative masterpiece. Perfect for date nights and intimate gatherings.

Black owned spot in Hotel Indigo. It's chic looking. It's s good vibe. The DJ played great music. You could watch the game if you wanted. It's definitely giving date night, night out with friends, a small bday turn up. The food menu is limited but the good is good. I recommend the tamarind wings and the oxtail rice dish.
